Cold Stress

In both the private and professional sector, it is incredible how many accidents happen in relationship to cold stress injuries. Death and amputations can be easily avoided. In this course students are taught engineering controls, management controls and PPE requirements. This course reviews the stages of hypothermia and the body’s defenses against cold stress. Students walk away with a strong foundation of defensive techniques to protect themselves against the cold.
