The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) mentions the kind of injuries like those on left hand and lower left leg as the most common caused by chainsaw. The risk of these injuries can be reduced if the employers train their employees on the use of appropriate chainsaw safety and maneuver, and proper personal protective equipment (PPE).
This chainsaw safety course provides information on basic chainsaw safety regarding treetrimming, disaster clean-up, forestry and more to teach workers safe work practices which lessen the risk of chainsaw injuries and other logging incidents. This training program is compliant with rules and regulations within OSHA-defined Standard.

The course has been particularly designed for loggers as they are the ones dealing with chainsaws
and face chainsaw-related injuries.
At the completion of this training, students will be able to:
Common hazards of jobsites, trees and logging equipment
Selecting the right personal protective equipment (PPE)
Critical provisions for logging work
Developing and implementing logging activities
All modules are followed by quizzes, which are obligatory to pass to proceed forward in the course
A period of six months from original registration will be given to students to complete Chainsaw
Safety course. A student’s account will be expired after this period. A re-registration with complete subscription fee is essential to benefit from the course again
