The Incident Commander refresher course is available in both online and offline modes, aspirants can choose whichever mode suits them best. The purpose of the 8-Hour Incident Commander Refresher Training is to provide an incident command system led by a single person who may not necessarily have extensive knowledge about the cataloging and authentication of hazardous materials but who is still capable of managing emergencies of varying severity and supervising the rest of the HAZMAT team.
Refresher training’s objective is to monitor employees’ proficiency with safety procedures related to operations involving hazardous substances. By using the Incident Command system developed by the fire industry, the commander will have the information necessary to include all external agencies.

The training applies to every OSHA employee, who intends to address emergencies disturbing the
sustained operations of the Occupational Safety and Health Administration office. This includes
employees handling hazardous waste material.

This course is also available online; applicants can enroll and join classes at their comfort location.
Quiz will be held at the end of each module to comprehend the knowledge of students about that
module and its relevant aspects. It is mandatory to pass all quizzes to be able to take final
examination.
