This course offers both online and offline options so that students can enroll at their convenience. Bloodborne pathogens are infectious bacteria found in human blood. Workers in a wide variety of work categories may be exposed to these microorganisms, which can have serious health effects. OSHA has specified safety measures in the form of the bloodborne pathogens standard 29 CFR 1910.1030 in order to safeguard against and alert employees and employers about these health concerns. Additionally, OSHA established obligations for employers to provide reliable medical equipment.
Workers must be provided with the knowledge and information necessary to ensure their safety in workplaces where such dangers arise in order to reduce occupational exposure to HIV, Hepatitis B and C, and other infectious illnesses carried by the blood. This course is based on OSHA’s bloodborne pathogens standard 29 CFR 1910.1030 and is designed to give students relevant background knowledge.

All modules are followed by quizzes, which are obligatory to pass to proceed forward in the course.
A period of six months from original registration will be given to students to complete Bloodborne Pathogens 29 CFR 1910.1030 course. A student’s account will be expired after this period. A re-registration with complete subscription fee is essential to benefit from the course again.
