The course is also available to pursue online, so students with tight schedules can also complete this course online. After completing either the OSHA 24 Hour HAZWOPER training or the first OSHA 40 Hour HAZWOPER training, workers who plan to supervise Hazwoper employees in the general industry sector must complete a one-time 8 Hour Hazwoper Supervisor Training pursuant to 29 CFR 1910.120. By taking this course, certified supervisors can also renew their qualification.
The goal of this course is to fulfill the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) training standards established by the Federal government for practices linked to the general industry’s Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response (HAZWOPER) programme. This course also fulfills the requirements for HAZWOPER training under State OSHA standards and EPA regulations.
