DOT requires the placement of correct barricades in case of a potential hazard. These barricades should be suitably tagged and must always be visible until the removal of the hazard. A barricade informs audience of a boundary not to be traversed. There are many different purposes as well as placement standards of barricades on roadways.
This course introduces participants to the utilization and significance of appropriate barricading in order to prevent transport-related accidents and ensure workplace safety.
