Fire Protection 29 CFR 1910 – Subpart L

The subpart L of Fire Protection 29 CFR 1910 encompasses requirements for fire brigades, and all portable and fixed fire suppression equipment, fire detection systems, and fire or employee alarm systems fitted to meet the safety standards.

Goals of the Course

The goal of this training course is to prepare fire brigade members in those duties and functions appropriately which they are expected to perform.

Audience Specified

The training applies to every OSHA employee, who intends to address emergencies disturbing the
sustained operations of the Occupational Safety and Health Administration office. This includes
employees handling hazardous waste material.

Quiz and Exam Information

Module Quiz

A quiz will be held after each module as a test of students’ knowledge. Students are anticipated to pass every quiz to be able to take final paper and get certificate for the course.

Examinable Features

A minimum score of 70% is required to pass the final paper and get certificate of the course after completing all modules and passing subsequent quizzes. Overall, 3 attempts will be given with a break of 48 hours respectively, to retake the final exam if students don’t pass it in the early attempt.

Completion time

Six months from initial registration, ARC Flash Training / NFPA 70E course must be completed. Afterwards, a student’s account will be expired and they will be expected to buy the entire course again.
