OSHA’s Standard 1910.95 Monitoring Noise Levels Non-Mandatory Informational Appendix states that it may be essential to measure or monitor the actual noise levels in the workplace and to calculate the employees’ daily noise exposure, or “dose,” in order to ascertain whether exposures are at or over this level.
The goal of this course is to sensitize students about noise risk assessment, its significance and procedures for hearing-related problems at workplace.

The intentional audience for this course is all those people who are working or maintaining
operation on site. These personnel include

b) Hazardous waste cleanup personnel;
