The OSHA 29 CFR 1910 regulations focus on general industry safety regulations and relate to
most worksites. Alternately, the OSHA 29 CFR 1926 detail regulations for the construction
industry, and recognize the specific work-related risks connected with it. The obligation to limit
employee exposure to the defined permissible exposure limit shall apply for laboratories as per
OSHA health standards
