Goals of the Course

The purpose of this course is to prepare a blaster, by reason of knowledge, training, or experience, in the field of storing, transporting, handling, and use of explosives. A working knowledge of State and local laws and regulations pertaining to explosives will also be imparted to people undergoing training.

Learning Outcome:

  • knowing the importance of good physical form and perils of addiction to intoxicants, narcotics, or related drugs
  • having a working knowledge of State and local laws and regulations pertaining to explosives
  • showing satisfactory indication of competency in managing explosives and executing in a safe manner the required sort of blasting
  • competent and knowledgeable in the usage of all types of blasting methods taught

All modules are followed by quizzes, which are obligatory to pass to proceed forward in the course.

Examinable Features

  • A final exam will be given to students at the end of training. At least 70% score must be obtained in this exam to receive a certificate of completion. To retake the final exam, three attempts will be provided with a break of 48 hours, respectively.

Completion time

A period of six months from original registration will be given to students to finish Blasting & Use of Explosives course. A student’s account will be expired after this period. A re-registration with complete subscription fee is essential to benefit from the course again.
