Accident Investigation 29 CFR 1904 Course

Employees, supervisors and managers must read and understand practices and techniques for investigating and reporting accidents that may occur at workplace. An Accident Reporting and Investigation Course proposes such methods so as to make workers vigilant about system or human error. This course is in compliance with the guidelines described in OSHA 29 CFR 1904.

Goals of the Course

Accidents are unavoidable in spite of the meticulous safety efforts at the place of work. The basic
purpose of this course is to:

a) describe methods and practices for investigating and reporting accidents

b) provide a standardized way to deal with accidents at workplace

training requirements of 29 CFR 1910.120(e)(3)(i) defined by Federal OSHA HAZWOPER for general industry.

Audience Specified

This course must be taken by all workers including supervisors, managers and employees since
anyone present at the time of accident would be expected to provide an insight into it. Hence, all company employees and employers should be able to provide details of the incident in an accurate manner.
