30-Hour General Industry Course

30-Hour General Industry course is a must requirement for all employees working in general
industry. This OSHA outreach training explains the probability of particular job hazards and ways
to thwart them. Workers will be provided with a greater depth of knowledge regarding safety
obligations and multiple types of training on an extended list of matters connected with workplace
hazards in general industry.

Goals of the Course

The goal of the program is to provide training to workers and employers on the recognition,
evasion, reduction, and prevention of health and safety hazards in their workplaces. It will enable responsible persons to observe workplace safety and apply OSHA health and safety regulations specific to their workplaces. The program also offers information related to the rights of workers, employer responsibilities, and filing of a complaint.

Module Quiz

Modules are used to arrange each course. A quiz is included in each module to allow the student
to gauge their level of understanding of the material. The moment students submit their quiz answers, they get quick feedback. Results of the quiz are not kept on file, and it can be taken more
than once.

Examinable Features

  • Students can take the course test after studying the course material and passing the module quizzes.
  • The purpose of the course exam is to measure how well the students have understood the topic.
  • To receive full credit for the course, you must pass a final exam.
  • Each exam must be passed with a minimum score of 70%.
  • You can retake an exam if you don't pass the first time.
  • Exams can only be taken three (3) times by students.
  • Students must wait 48 hours before taking the test again. Students should reread the course material to increase their understanding during this period.

Completion time

The 30-hour General Industry Course must be completed within six months of the student’s enrollment date. Their account expires after six months and must be renewed in order to repurchase the course.
