24-Hour course for Hazardous Waste and Emergency Response Operations (Hazwoper) is
designed for workers who do not need an extensive training of 40 hours. These workers are usually
involved in procedures concerning hazardous wastes at facilities or clean-up procedures, and
meticulous disaster response maneuvers.
The goal of this course is to educate students about hazard identification, avoidance and
remediation through a comprehensive curriculum. In this course, both employers and employees
will be taught about on-site working practices to develop skills essential for wellbeing and safety
in the workplace.

Students are expected to take quiz after every module as a test of their competence. The quiz will
contain short questions from the respective modules.
