8-Hour Incident Commander Refresher Training is intended to offer an incident command system
lead by a single person who may not have extensive knowledge inevitably about the cataloguing
and authentication of hazardous materials, but rather capable of managing emergencies of varying
severity and supervise the rest of the HAZMAT team
The goal of refresher training is to keep a check on workers’ competency on safety practices
relevant to operations involving hazardous substances. The commander will acquire knowledge to
incorporate all outside agencies by employing the Incident Command system established by the
fire industry.

Quiz will be held at the end of each module to comprehend the knowledge of students about that
module and its relevant aspects. It is mandatory to pass all quizzes to be able to take final
examination.
Students are expected to complete all modules and pass final exam within 6 months of the initial registration to receive course credits. A re-registration with complete course fee will be required after the expiration of this time period.
